An optimal mixture of various materials combined with resin result in excellent braking performance with little manual force on the brake lever. Good braking performance in dry and wet weather conditions. Less wear and tear. Springs and clips are always included with the SwissStop brake pads.

ATTENTION: The brake pads must be run in to achieve optimum braking power and durability
Step 1: Alternately let the front and rear brakes slide for 20-30 seconds on a moderately steep descent.
Repeat this process 2-3 times.
2nd step: On a steeper descent, let both brakes alternately drag for 10-15 seconds and end the braking with an almost complete stop.
Repeat this process 2-3 times.
Pro tip: Break in the brake pads for the rear brake on the front wheel. Exactly as described above. Then mount the rear pads. On a level road, allow it to be sanded briefly 2-3 times. Caution: Before replacing the pads, they must be allowed to cool down sufficiently: Danger of burns!
