Shimano Ultegra Di2 Road Bike Groupset R8170 with Hydraulic Disc Brakes 2x12

Shimano's Ultegra 8100 series components offer excellent value for money. Every detail reflects the Japanese manufacturer's years of experience. Whether it's functionality, durability, or weight, top-notch performance is achieved in every aspect. With this top-level groupset, Shimano is revolutionizing the Di2 components. From now on, shift commands are transmitted wirelessly. The wireless technology, along with the exclusively developed transmission protocol, guarantees the fastest shifting performance ever achieved in the cycling industry. To ensure the compact and aerodynamic design of the derailleur and front derailleur, these components are still connected to the new internal BT-DN300 battery via E-Tube cables.

Ultegra Di2 Shift/Brake Lever Set ST-R8170 and BR-R8170 Flat Mount Disc Brake Set
With a press of a button, gears are swiftly and reliably engaged. The precise lever action ensures that shifts only occur when the rider consciously intends to shift. Accidental operation is not a concern. In addition, the wireless chip consumes low energy, with the CR1632 button cell lasting over 1.5 years. This system is fully customizable using the Shimano E-Tube App. You can adjust shift speed, choose between full or semi-synchronized shifting modes, and assign specific functions to the program buttons on the lever.

When it comes to braking, the SERVO WAVE technology provides optimal control over your bike at all times. It offers excellent modulation and ample power that is unmatched. Not only do these components excel in performance, but the ergonomics have also been significantly improved. The grip recess is better shaped, and the rounded brake levers provide secure handling even during long descents. Additionally, the lever reach is adjustable. The completely redesigned ULTEGRA BR-R8170 caliper enhances the world of road cycling with unprecedented control, optimized modulation, and minimized brake rubbing. Furthermore, this system is quieter and more maintenance-friendly than ever before, despite its compact size.

FC-R8100 2x Crankset
The Ultegra FC-R8100 crankset not only converts your pedaling power into forward motion but also ensures extremely fast and precise shifting with its high rigidity. The optimized chainring design further enhances shifting precision. To keep the weight low, the Japanese manufacturer continues to use the proven Hollowtech II construction for the crank arms. The crankset is available in 52-36T and 50-34T chainring options, with crank arm lengths ranging from 160mm to 175mm.

RD-R8150 Di2 Shadow Rear Derailleur
The compact Ultegra 8150 rear derailleur delivers lightning-fast and precise shifting. Even under medium and high loads, thanks to its low-profile design and Shimano Shadow+ technology, gear changes are quick and without significant noise. There is no clattering or rattling with these high-tech components! Despite its sleek dimensions, the derailleur houses the battery charging port and the wireless mode button. With just one cage length, the rear derailleur can shift on cassettes ranging from 11-30T to 11-34T, increasing the versatility of this top-level component group.

FD-R8150 Di2 Front Derailleur
The Ultegra R8150 front derailleur is more compact than ever before and a true powerhouse. It seamlessly shifts between chainrings and performs its shifts with digital precision under all conditions. The reduced frontal area also contributes to reduced aerodynamic drag.

BT-DN300 Internal Battery
The latest-generation integrated battery that is concealed in the seat post or fork steerer tube. With internally routed cables, the road bike has a clean appearance. Integrating the battery into the frame also reduces the number of components exposed to the wind. The battery can be charged while remaining on the bike.

CS-R8100 Cassette
Shimano's Hyperglide+ cassettes have set new standards for smooth upshifting and downshifting in off-road applications. For the Ultegra 8100 groupset, the Japanese manufacturer has brought this technology to road cycling as well. Now you can shift confidently even under high power inputs during climbs or sprints to the finish line. This is made possible, among other things, by longer teeth. Despite the new construction and the additional 12th sprocket, the CS-R8100 cassettes are compatible with existing 11-speed road freehub bodies.

Ultegra | XT CN-M8100 12-speed Chain
The CN-M8100 chain offers an exceptionally smooth and quiet chain run. This is not only noticeable during pedaling but also results in a 4dB quieter drive. Thanks to a new chromed surface combined with the proven SIL-TEC coating, the chain's lifespan has been maintained at the level of the M8000 chain, despite its narrower outer width.

About the headquarters: SHIMANO INC.
Shimano Iron Works, the predecessor of Shimano Inc., was founded in 1921 by Shozaburo Shimano in Sakai City, Osaka Japan. The first production was the single freewheel bicycle, which required the greatest technical skill to produce. In 1951 the company name changed to Shimano Industrial Co., LTD.

We founded Shimano American Corporation (now Shimano North America Holding, Inc.) as our first overseas sales office in 1965, while on the other hand Shimano Singapore Pte. Ltd. as the first overseas manufacturing facility in 1973. In 1991 the company name was changed to Shimano Inc. We have currently expanded our networks around the world to include consolidated subsidiaries.

Since Shimanin's founding, the headquarters have remained in Sakai, the birthplace of Shimano.
