The DURA-ACE WH-R9270-TL is the jewel in the new wheel lineup. With a lighter, wider full carbon rim and a lighter hub, the WH-R9270-TL is ideally equipped for climbs in the mountains. The new rims with profiles of 36 mm, 50 mm, and 60 mm offer excellent aerodynamic properties despite the extremely low weight. The 12-speed freehub body scores with increased drive stiffness through DIRECT ENGAGEMENT.

Shimano's 12-speed Shimano Dura-Ace hubs are equipped with a specific freewheel. The cassette simultaneously engages in 18 grooves with a length of 37.65 millimeters.
The freewheel was named HG Spline L2.
Note: The freewheel is only compatible with 12-speed cassettes.
