      ZIPP 404 650c / 26 inch carbon clincher with aluminum brake flank and Bitex hubs       

The 404 rim with its 58mm rim profile is a classic in ZIPP's range, whose origins date back to the early 1990s. To this day, racers win with the 404 rims, from flat races like the Queen K to mountain stages on L'Alpe d'Huez. Because with the rim shape, the rim has the right properties to win every race on every terrain. Whether it's a racing bike, triathlon or track bike, the 404 feels at home everywhere, from fast criteriums to steep mountain stages. D

The ultra-light Bitex RAF10 front wheel hub is significantly more robust than other products in this weight class thanks to its 4-fold bearings and impresses with its permanently smooth running.

The wheels are built entirely by hand in Germany by experienced wheel builders, who not only pay attention to the concentricity, but also guarantee even spoke tension. Laced with Sapim CX Ray or DT Swiss Aerolite in black, depending on availability. Laced with silver or black aluminum nipples, depending on availability.

Motorsport engineer Leigh Sargent was actually specialized in perfecting the aerodynamics of Indy 500 vehicles.
