Whether headlights, tail lights or rear-view mirrors - each of the more than 500 products is developed, produced and extensively tested before sale at the founding location in Meinerzhagen in the western Sauerland. Even the special tools for the injection molding machines were manufactured in-house on the more than 14,000 square meter large company premises. With this level of vertical integration, which is unique in the field of bicycle lighting and bicycle rear-view mirrors, Busch + Müller is securing around 200 jobs in Germany in the long term.
Innovator in the field of e-bike lighting
Busch + Müller recognized the potential of special e-bike lighting early on. Because e-bike headlights are supplied with power from the e-bike's drive battery, but the direct voltage level of these batteries is not standardized, all e-bike lighting solutions from Busch + Müller were developed so that they could accommodate different direct voltages. E-bike headlights and e-bike rear lights from Meinerzhagen are also compatible with almost all e-bike drive systems. But there is no rule without an exception: For e-bikes built before 2013, which in Germany had to be equipped with a dynamo, the traditional bicycle lights from Busch + Müller can be used instead for operation with bicycle dynamos.
